Natural Home Remedies for Mouth ulcers

   

The small white spot on the inside of the cheek, the tongue as well as a painful sore in the mouth is called as mouth ulcers or canker sores. There are first sign of the sore may be a tingling, burning sensation inside the mouth and generally white or yellow in color, surrounded by red halos and pain on nursing, eating or drinking. If the mouth is dry then pains may be sharp or sticking and in this cases person is not able to drink and eat anything.

Home remedies for mouth ulcers

You can take raw coconut pieces and chew it with little sugar for 4-5 times in a day. Take a toothpaste containing sodium bicarbonate in which high in fluoride and other chemicals and use this toothpaste on the ulcers area many times in a day. Take a 2 oz hydrogen peroxide, 2 oz water, 1 tsp of salt, baking soda and make a mixture from this, after rinse the mouth using this mixture but don't swallow this mixture. Make a mixture of same quantity of kaopectate, milk of magnesia with benylin or benadryl and apply this mixture to the mouth ulcers with a cotton swab. Make a mixture of a pinch of turmeric powder with a 1 tbs. of glycerine and apply this mixture to the mouth ulcers. Make a mixture of 7 parts of sugar candy with 1 part of camphor and apply this mixture on the swelling.

Herbal remedies for mouth ulcers

You can take peppermint oil and apply this oil to the mouth ulcers as well as intake of mulberry juice. Take a 5-6 holy basil leaves like tulsi and chew it, after drink some water for 5-6 times in a day. Take a banyan tree herb and decoction of the growl of this herb because it reduces the pain of the ulcers. Take a triphala choorna in which contain chebulic myrobalan herb and it growl because it reduces the pain of the ulcers. Make a mixture of henna herb with water and rinse your mouth from this mixture. Make a mixture of turmeric herb with water and rinse your mouth from this mixture. Make a mixture of fenugreek leaves with water and rinse your mouth from this mixture. Use toothpaste which containing stem and leaves for licorice herb because it cleans the mouth.

Tips for mouth ulcers

  • Do not eat fish.
  • Do not use a hard toothbrush for rinse your mouth.
  • Do not eat potato chips or dry bread crusts.
  • Do not eat spicy foods.
  • A proper balance of minerals should be maintained.
  • Do not drink a hot tea and coffee.
